H1N1 Dashboard

While not technicaly PHGrid, the Novel H1N1 Collaboration Project's Enrollment Dashboard is an interesting approach to data visualization that may filter into PHGrid prototypes for visualization.

You won't be able to view the dashboard since it's not public, but the multi-layer google map is pretty interesting.

Coming from the viewpoint of a warning analyst, this group will need to address the noise versus true signal issue.

As clearly exposed in the early days of the pandemic, having generic availability of data vis a vie 'Google' and its flotilla of funded projects was grossly insufficient.

You must have a knowledgeable human who interfaces with the information and 'makes the call' to issue a warning. This is an absolutely critical step.

That said, I would strongly encourage this collaborative to engage warning analysts (i.e., folks who interface with the near-real time data on a daily basis as those who issue warnings). That way, you ensure feedback from an operator's perspective who perform that role for a living.
